Who we are
Mindtune Learning operates this website. We explore the learner behind academic outcomes through Insights, Signals, Study Dome, and related research invitations.
If you have a privacy question, use our Contact page and mention “Privacy” in your message.
What this policy covers
It applies to the public website at mindtunelearning.com, including Insights articles, Contact, Participate surveys, and related forms. It does not replace any separate privacy notice that may apply inside Study Dome or other Mindtune products if those services have their own terms.
Information we collect
Information you send us
- Contact form — name, email, organisation (optional), reason for contact, and your message.
- Participate surveys — answers you choose to submit, and any optional details the survey asks for.
Please do not include sensitive personal information about children or others unless it is necessary and you have the right to share it.
Technical information
Like most websites, our servers may automatically receive standard request data such as IP address, browser type, date/time, and the page requested. We use this to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site. We do not currently run third-party advertising pixels on these pages.
Cookies
The public site is primarily static HTML. We may use essential cookies or similar storage where needed for forms, security, or basic site function. We do not use marketing cookies on the public Insights site at this time. If that changes, we will update this page.
CMS and LinkedIn (editors only)
If you are a Mindtune editor using the private CMS, login credentials are stored for account access. If you connect LinkedIn to post Insights, LinkedIn provides an access token under LinkedIn’s terms; that token is stored securely on our server for posting on your behalf and can be disconnected at any time in the CMS.
How we use information
- To respond to messages and partnership or research enquiries
- To review Participate responses and improve our understanding of learning
- To operate, protect, and improve the website
- To publish Insights content you authorise through the CMS (editors)
We do not sell your personal information.
How we store and protect information
Contact and survey submissions are stored on our hosting environment for the Mindtune team to review. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please avoid sending passwords or highly sensitive data through public forms.
How long we keep information
We keep contact and survey submissions for as long as needed to respond, learn from participation, and meet operational or legal needs. We may delete or anonymise records earlier when they are no longer required.
Sharing
We may share information with service providers who help us host or operate the site (for example, our web host), only as needed to provide those services. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Mindtune Learning, our users, or others.
Children
This website is aimed at educators, parents, students, and people interested in learning. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our public forms for commercial purposes. If you believe a child has submitted personal information inappropriately, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you have sent through Contact or Participate, subject to any legal retention needs. Use the Contact page for such requests.
External links
Our pages may link to other websites (for example Study Dome or LinkedIn). Their privacy practices are their own. We encourage you to read their policies when you leave mindtunelearning.com.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
